MEC Names new Midwest GM, National Sales & Marketing Manager

Milwaukee, WI – Hani Malek has joined MEC, The Milwaukee Electronics Company, as general manager and national sales and marketing manager. In his new role, he will have operational responsibility for the Company’s Milwaukee-based electronics manufacturing services (EMS) facility and sales and marketing responsibility for MEC’s EMS facilities in Wisconsin, Oregon and Mexico.

Malek has over 12 years of experience in EMS operations management and 20 years experience in electronics
manufacturing-related industries. Previously, he was vice president and general manager of Preco Electronics, Inc. in Peoria, IL. Malek was earlier associated with Eder Industries, Molex Inc., Thomas & Betts Corporation and W.H. Brady Corporation in a variety of management and sales positions.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has also completed APW Lean Enterprise Training and Caterpillar’s Six Sigma Leadership Training Program.
